Windancer Arts company  American Indian Section offers to  you the products of  Native American/Canadian 1st Nations Peoples'.   In the offering of these beautiful gifts we give thanks to our Grandmothers and Grandfathers who have shared with us their knowledge since the beginning of time and who walk beside us and guide our steps today.

We offer to you a wide collection of traditional and contemporary art and artifact reproductions

All items shown throughout this catalogue are made by 1st nations crafts people and artists who use traditional materials (Deer/Elk skin) and follow methods passed down by their ancestors.

In all cases, where appropriate, permission has been obtained from Tribal Elders to reproduce and sell select pieces to non-Indian people. In our native societies a craftsperson must demonstrate that they have specific qualifications before they can practice their art or craft. Those qualifications may include certain ceremonies or training in working with plant or animal materials with proper respect and reverence.

The items you purchase through Windancer Arts carry many stories of the cultures they represent. All items come with tags sharing the story of its spirit of creation.  Many products carry their own names to more easily make a product identifiable for sale.

All arts that we exhibit and distribute are made by Native Peoples'.  We do not recommend the buying and selling of imitations as this is offensive to all Indigenous people.

For the arts of our people are one and the same with our ways of life. There is no separation. For culture to survive the people must also be able to survive.

The arts you select through Windancer Arts make you a vital part of this process, and you become part of the vast circle of life which allows the traditions to flow forward by supporting our people on a very grass roots level.

As one of the Grandmothers you will be supporting has said many times "Thank you for putting food into the bellies of my grandchildren." By supporting our artists, you also support our families, our tribes and our cultural way of life.

The works shown here are a small representation of the vast selection available. We thank the many native American/Canadian 1st Nations Artists & craftspeople we represent  for sharing such beauty with others.

We offer the following to you and the Great Spirit and pray that the Four Winds will carry, heal and bring into right relationship all life here upon our Earth Mother .
